A wide range of pupils from Year 7-10 performed on the 19th November 2013 in the Paul Shuttleworth Drama Studio, presenting dance and drama work.
Shakespeare School Festival Performance
The Year 10 GCSE Drama Group presented A Winter's Tale by Williams Shakespeare, fresh from performing it at the Carriageworks Theatre, Leeds, as part of the Shakespeare Schools Festival. The quality of acting, and the way that they all embraced the 1970s disco-inspired direction was terrific, and they represented the high standard of drama that we expect at Ryedale brilliantly.
|Almost a hundred students performed to a live audience. Work from extra curricular clubs, Year 7, 8 and 9 class groups and GCSE Dance was shown. The standard of Dance performed on this evening was outstanding. This year a large number of students performed for the very first time which was particularly pleasing. The final piece of GCSE work was inspired by their Phoenix Dance workshop.|
